Product Description:

Pafolacianine sodium is the sodium salt form of pafolacianine, a targeted fluorescent imaging agent developed to assist in the visualization of cancerous tissue during surgical procedures. It is composed of a folate receptor-alpha (FRα) targeting ligand that is chemically conjugated to a near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent dye. After intravenous administration, pafolacianine sodium circulates in the body and specifically binds to FRα expressed on the surface of malignant cells.
