Drug Regulatory Authorities of the World: Websites, Registers and Portals (2026)

Last checked: September 2026. We opened every website on this page. Where a site was down or blocked when we checked, we say so.

Every exporter hits the same wall sooner or later: you need the medicines regulator's website for a country, and a search gives you three dead links, an old domain now selling something else, and a consultant's page pretending to be official. So we went through every country's medicines regulator one by one: the official website, the public product register, the online application portal and, where one exists, the place to check GMP certificates or manufacturing licences. It's all on this page, grouped by region.

How to use this page

• Checking whether a product is registered? Use the Product register link. Many countries publish their register as a searchable database; some only as a PDF or Excel list.
• Checking a supplier? Use the GMP / licence check link where there is one. For the EU and EEA, EudraGMDP shows GMP certificates and manufacturing licences. Our guide on how to verify a pharmaceutical supplier explains what to look for.
• Planning a registration? The Online portal is where applications are filed. For what each country actually requires, see our import guides by region.
• Regional bodies come first in each table: the EMA, the Gulf Health Council, the Caribbean Regulatory System, the EAEU, and Africa's regional programmes. Registering through them can open several markets at once.

A few things we learned doing this: regulators change domains more often than you'd think (Kyrgyzstan's old address now belongs to a gambling site), several small countries still have no regulator website at all, and a surprising number of registers are just PDFs. If you rely on a link here for anything important, check the date on the page you land on.

For every EU and EEA country, GMP certificates and manufacturing licences are in EudraGMDP, the EU database. We only list national GMP links where a country has its own.
