Pindolol, sold under the brand name Visken, is a non-selective beta-adrenergic blocker primarily used in the management of hypertension. It works by blocking beta-adrenergic receptors, leading to a reduction in heart rate and blood pressure. Pindolol is approved for the treatment of hypertension in the United States, Canada, and Europe, and is also used for angina pectoris in several regions outside the United States.

In addition to its cardiovascular effects, pindolol exhibits antagonist activity at serotonin 5-HT1A receptors, preferentially blocking inhibitory autoreceptors.
