Glycopyrrolate and indacaterol is a fixed-dose combination used in the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This dual bronchodilator combines a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) with a long-acting beta-agonist (LABA) to improve lung function and reduce COPD symptoms. Available under brand names like Ultibro Breezhaler in the EU and previously Utibron Neohaler in the US, it is delivered via dry powder inhaler (DPI) for once-daily or twice-daily use. The combination enhances airway relaxation, reduces breathlessness, and supports better respiratory control. It is not intended for asthma or acute bronchospasm relief.
