Product Description:

Etoposide is a semi-synthetic derivative of podophyllotoxin, a plant compound. It inhibits topoisomerase II, the enzyme that cuts and rejoins DNA, leaving breaks that kill dividing cancer cells. This page covers two forms. The 20 mg/mL concentrate is diluted for intravenous infusion and is used in most hospital combination chemotherapy. The 50 mg soft capsule lets selected patients take treatment by mouth, for example in palliative schedules. Oral bioavailability is roughly half, so an oral dose is about twice the intravenous one.

Etoposide is part of standard regimens for small cell lung cancer and testicular germ cell tumours, and is used in lymphomas, acute myeloid leukaemia and several childhood cancers. WHO includes it on its Model List of Essential Medicines. The concentrate is diluted, typically to no more than 0.4 mg/mL, to avoid precipitation, and infused over at least 30 minutes, since fast infusion causes hypotension. Undiluted concentrate can crack acrylic or ABS plastic devices. Myelosuppression is dose-limiting, and secondary leukaemia is a recognised late risk.

Sourcing notes. Both forms are prescription-only cytotoxic medicines, registered nationally in CTD or ACTD format from sites approved for cytotoxics. The concentrate contains solubilisers such as polysorbate 80, macrogol and ethanol, so compare excipients with the reference product. Vials are stored at room temperature away from light. Capsule storage differs between products, and some labels ask for refrigeration, so confirm before agreeing transport. Ask for a batch CoA, GMP certificate, CoPP and IVb stability. Etoposide — third party manufacturing & bulk supply

Etoposide is available through PharmaTradz for wholesale and bulk supply as well as on a third party (contract) manufacturing basis. Buyers sourcing this product generally take one of three routes:

Wholesale / bulk supply Stock or scheduled supply from an existing manufacturer. The fastest route where the product is already registered in your market.
Third party manufacturing Manufactured to your specification and packed under your own brand and label — suits distributors and brand owners building a portfolio in their market.
Dossier licensing Where a CTD, EU-CTD or ACTD dossier exists it can often be licensed for filing in your name, compressing market entry from years to months.

Indicative minimum order quantity

Etoposide is supplied as Oral Capsules & Injection: — supplied in more than one dosage form, each with its own manufacturing economics, so the indicative MOQ is a minimum order value of USD 5,000 per product. Actual MOQ is confirmed by the allocated manufacturer against your pack presentation and destination market. See full supply terms for dossier formats, market availability and shelf life.

Manufacturers of Etoposide listed on PharmaTradz hold site-level approvals across WHO-GMP, EU-GMP, USFDA, ANVISA and TGA, verified at onboarding.
