Vitamin B12 comes in several forms. Cyanocobalamin is the most common and most stable. Methylcobalamin is popular with customers who ask for an 'active' form, and adenosylcobalamin and hydroxocobalamin are also used.
B12 is needed in tiny amounts, so it is easy to put into almost any format: tablets, sublingual tablets that dissolve under the tongue, gummies, sprays and drops. Because the amounts are so small, good mixing and testing of every batch matter.
Methylcobalamin is sensitive to light, so it needs protective packaging.
