Amlodipine / valsartan tablets are a combination therapy used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), especially in patients who require stronger blood pressure control than a single medicine can provide. This combination includes amlodipine besylate, a calcium channel blocker that helps relax and widen blood vessels, and valsartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents blood vessels from narrowing.
