Primidone is an aromatic anticonvulsant medication that plays an important role in the long-term management of epilepsy and related seizure disorders. It has been in clinical use for several decades and remains a valuable therapeutic option for patients who require effective seizure control, either as monotherapy or in combination with other antiepileptic drugs.
