Product Description:

Metronidazole is a nitroimidazole antimicrobial. Inside anaerobic bacteria and protozoa it is reduced to reactive intermediates that damage DNA, so it works against anaerobes, amoebae, giardia and trichomonas but not ordinary aerobic bacteria.
