Ebac Industrial Products Ltd (EIPL) is a global leader in climatic control solutions. Coupled with over 50 years of experience, innovative ideas and the use of revolutionary technology, their products are renowned for their reliability and robustness, in the harshest of environments. Ebac was founded in 1972, their first product being the BD150 Industrial dehumidifier, for the UK Hire Shops. Although manufacturing techniques have changed over the years, the self‐same product is still manufactured today, a testimony to the quality of products manufactured by EIPL, and still accepted as a leading product within the hire industry. EIPL have over the years designed and supplied equipment into many markets, for example the Jubilee Underground Trains, all have EIPL Air conditioning installed in the driver’s cab, and Heat and Ventilation systems located in the passenger carriages (next time you are seated on the Jubilee Line Trains, give a though to the EIPL equipment under your seat). During previous conflicts ie the Gulf War, the UK MOD commissioned Ebac to design and manufacture a portable Air Conditioner, for deployed Hospital tents. In additional to the reliability and robustness, EIPL also had to deal with short timescales in the products design and approvals. This ability to react quickly gave the UK MOD confidence to turn to EIPL again on future similar requirements.
